Gluten free beef bulgogi

What haven’t I done before? Made a Korean dish.

Ingredients (serves 2):
300g Beef rump steak, sliced in chunks
5 x tbsp gluten free soy sauce
2 x tbsp brown sugar
1 x White onion, diced
2 x Garlic cloves, diced
2 x tbsp sesame oil
0.5 tsp ground black pepper
Sesame seeds (which I forgot)

1. Place the beef in a bowl and add the soy sauce, sugar, onion, garlic, sesame oil and pepper. Combine, cover and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
2. I cooked this in a hot pan using sesame oil but it’s recommended to use a bbq for this so it slightly dries. (If you don’t have a bbq then I suggest puting a small amount of sesame oil in a pan, then add the steak mixture. Turn over regularly until cooked – it takes about 2 minutes each side.
3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
