Gluten free homemade hummus

When you start making your own hummus you will never go back to that shop bought stuff (well, I assume this will happen…I just made my first pot of the yellow stuff). It’s so quick and easy (and super delicious).

What haven’t I done before? Made hummus.

Ingredients:
400g of Chickpeas (drained)
Fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Tahini (apparently the secret ingredient)
1 tbsp Olive oil

Method:
1. Fry the cumin seeds (don’t burn them like I did) and then pop them in a pestle and mortar and grind.
2. Put everything into a blender and blend away.
3. That’s it…easier than nipping to the shops to buy a pot to go with those carrots you need to eat up!
